This unit is designed to avoid tripping of main switchboard RCD systems during the testing of portable RCD units.

It essentially prevents the main switchboard protection circuit from inconveniently cutting power to the rest of the site, and avoiding costly power shut-downs during mandatory testing.

This new Gen II Isolation Unit has been created to overcome the problems of other units currently on the market.

Features such as switchable power input, output and input power indicators, built-in fuse holder with spare fuse carrier and sloping front test socket to accommodate various RCD shapes and bodies.
